About

Square

Bayview Media (formerly known as New England Property Photography) was founded by Bob Wiegers, a photographer and artist based in Saco, Maine (formerly in Southern Vermont). We’re glad to use our creative and technical skills to serve the media needs of real estate professionals and local small businesses and organizations in Maine and beyond.

Bob Wiegers, Owner

I moved to Portland, Maine in 2011, and have since lived in Massachusetts and Vermont. I established my Real Estate photography business in Bennington, Vermont where I thoroughly enjoyed serving my clients there. I recently moved back to Maine where I’m be eager to serve the media needs of real estate professionals and other local small businesses and organizations.

I have been passionate about photography for many years: starting with manual film SLRs in the 1990s (as well as developing my own film), then working professionally with Photoshop as a web developer in the early 2000s, and more recently diving in the deep end of DSLR cameras and digital media.

My specialty is simplicity: I’m affordable, quick, and professional.

Q&A

  1. Do you do aerial photography? YES! That’s the fun part! And it is always included with standard photo packages
  2. How soon will I get my photos? In less than 24 hours. Sometimes same-day, depending on availability. 3D Tours and Video Tours take up to 48 hours.
  3. How can I pay you? I’ll send you a link to an invoice when everything is ready. Venmo, PayPal, Credit Card, Check or Cash are all accepted.
  4. Can you come take photos in [your town here]? Probably! I may need to charge extra for mileage outside an hour from Saco, Maine.
  5. Are you in Maine or Vermont? I moved back to Maine in June 2024. I miss the folks in Vermont but I’m glad to be back home!
  6. Should I meet you there or can I give you a lock box number? Whatever is most convenient for you! I’ve done plenty of photo sessions with and without clients present and it always turns out great.
  7. What can I do to prepare for my photo session? Staging, or at least decluttering, is always worth the effort! And please turn on as many lights as possible.
  8. How did you get your start? A family friend happens to be the top real estate agent in Southern Vermont. I’ve always enjoyed photography, selling some fine art photos at farmer’s markets and such. I asked her if she ever needed a photographer to let me know. Her usual guy just moved away, so I started just a few days later and never looked back!
  9. What’s with your eye? OK I know that no one actually asks this, but I’m sure plenty of folks want to. My right eye is blind since birth and wanders a bit too. I used to think of this as a mild disability, but as a photographer and visual artist I’ve found it works to my advantage to already see the world in 2D. You can read all about it if I ever publish my semi-autobiographical novel called “Half-Blind.” But I digress. How about you contact me for your next session!
